Pearl Snap Consulting exists because operational resilience is too important to leave to firms that have never had to activate a plan under real conditions.
Hal Grieb is the founder of Pearl Snap Consulting and a former Emergency Management Director for Jefferson County, Colorado and Alachua County, Florida. He has also served in municipal emergency management in Texas, led emergency management programs at the University of Florida, and provided emergency management logistics and planning support to the Seminole Tribe of Florida. He supported private sector emergency management software development and currently provides project management support to the Central United States Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC). With more than 20 years across military, public safety, higher education, and government, he has built and led programs at every level of the emergency management system. He is known for bridging the gap between enterprise technology and real-world operations, including adapting major platforms for virtual EOC environments long before that became standard practice. Pearl Snap Consulting is the firm he built to deliver the kind of work he spent two decades wishing more consultants were doing.
Pearl Snap Consulting takes its name from the classic pearl snap shirt. Functional, reliable, and built for people who get things done. Like those shirts, the approach here combines professional excellence with straightforward, authentic service. Pearl snaps are elegant in their simplicity and engineered to perform under real conditions. That is exactly what this firm is built to deliver.
Organizations today face constant pressure from every direction: regulatory changes, budget shortfalls, staffing gaps, and crises that do not wait for a convenient moment. Most consulting engagements hand you a document and move on. Pearl Snap is built differently. The work here produces flexible, durable plans, protection systems, and technology integrations that hold up when those pressures arrive.
The goal has always been the same: equip organizations to adapt to the rugged realities of uncertainty. Not with rigid frameworks that crack under stress, but with solutions that are simple enough to actually use and strong enough to matter when it counts.
Equipping you to adapt to the rugged realities of uncertainty.
