Hal Grieb is the founder of Pearl Snap Consulting and a former Emergency Management Director for Jefferson County, Colorado and Alachua County, Florida. He has also served in municipal emergency management in Texas, led emergency management programs at the University of Florida, and provided emergency management logistics and planning support to the Seminole Tribe of Florida. He supported private sector emergency management software development and currently provides project management support to the Central United States Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC). With more than 20 years across military, public safety, higher education, and government, he has built and led programs at every level of the emergency management system. He is known for bridging the gap between enterprise technology and real-world operations, including adapting major platforms for virtual EOC environments long before that became standard practice. Pearl Snap Consulting is the firm he built to deliver the kind of work he spent two decades wishing more consultants were doing.
